Better late than never. Lapse of one year from its global launch, Yamaha YZF-R1 finally climbed the Asian mainland.
Earlier this year YZF-R1 started to be enjoyed by lovers of motor sport in India. According Bikeindia site, with spend approximately Rp251 million, a motor that is also used in this MotoGP race to take home.
Inspired from the MotoGP Yamaha M1, R1 latest generation is carrying the 998 cc engine with the crankshaft design that can simplify the control torque.
The motor also keeps all the advantages of technology developed predecessors, including YCC-T (Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle) and YCC-I (Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake).
There are also Yamah D-MODE (drive mode) that allows riders to adjust the character of the motor follow the road conditions.
